quality information, appropriate therapy treatments and workable strategies, in
accordance with our Code of Conduct and Code of Ethics.
ABC 2 Recovery abides by

Workers (AIWCW), International Society for Mental Health Online (ISMHO), and the
National Association of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counsellors (NAADAC) codes of
conduct.
Users must agree to the following conditions of use:

contact, inform and report to the appropriate authorities should the User
self-disclosure his/her intentions to:

- A Dual-Diagnosed Condition
- Or having or are contemplating any form of self-harming thoughts, or
thoughts of harming others, or suicidal thoughts.
- The User agrees if the User is experiencing any form of self-harm
thoughts, such as thoughts of suicide, self- mutation, or doing harm towards
another person, the User agrees he or she must immediately get off the
computer and immediately contact a qualified health professional friend, or
click our Emergency Page for help.
ABC 2 Recovery will comply with the Australian Privacy Legislation to protect
the privacy of clients under the professional ‘privileged and confidential’
regulations, except where ABC 2 Recovery has a duty of care to clients who may
self-disclosure his/her:
- intention to do harm to self
- intention to do harm to others
- or be at serious risk of harm to themselves
- or be at serious risk to harm others
The User must agree:

Not to misrepresent the severity of his/her
problem (s) or condition

If User is under the age of 18, ABC 2 Recovery
can only provide online support to you with parental or guardian consent,
and will need to know your identity

Not to share or distribute the content of our
services or sessions to another person because that person circumstances
are NOT specifically related to your particular condition and any advice or
suggestions given to you MAY NOT be appropriate and may be harmful to
another person or persons

The User agrees all contact with staff at ABC 2
Recovery will be appropriate and respectful; the user agrees the
consequences of inappropriate behaviour will be immediate termination of all
sessions and no refund will be payable for that session or any other
advanced paid sessions.
If the User wants to cancel an e-mail, on-line chat or telephone Addiction
Counselling - Recovery Coaching services, the User must contact ABC 2 Recovery
at least 24 hours before the date and time of the booked service. A 10% charge
will apply if a 24 hours cancellation notice is not received.

breach of confidence, unsecured email services on User’s personal computer
and other people’s computers.

ABC 2 Recovery will not be responsible for any
Internet technical problems, either commercial or individual service
provider's security systems connection problems, telephone connection
difficulties, unsecured email messages.

Should the User experience technical problems
prior, or during a session, ABC 2 Recovery will reschedule a mutually agreed
appointment time.

responsibility for damage, injury to persons, propriety arising from the use
of any information or material provided on this website.

The User agrees that Online Addiction Counsellor
and Recovery Coach Gay Cartier and her ABC 2 Recovery website will
be permanently released from all liable suits, claims, causes of actions,
claims and expenses including reasonable attorney’s fees and court costs, of
any nature resulting from the acts of mental health / therapists /recovery
counsellors / coaches services that are accessed through this website.

Informed Consent Agreement and fully understands and agrees to abide by its
terms of use.
Information collected from this website is used strictly for services,
accounts and payment services. ABC 2 Recovery will not send scam mail, or sell,
rent or share information to any third parties.
All information obtained through Online Addiction Counselling and Recovery
Coaching Services whether via email, on-line chat or telephone, is treated with
the same confidentiality and privilege as information obtained through
traditional face-to-face sessions.
ABC 2 Recovery does not make representation, warrant, or endorse the accuracy
of content, material, privacy practices of third party links and websites. ABC 2
Recovery is not responsible for any damages or consequences that result from
direct/indirect, correct/incorrect use of links.
ABC 2 Recovery's fees are charged in United States Dollars and are subject to
change without notice. ABC 2 Recovery offers an unconditional money-back
guarantee, unless completely satisfied. This guarantee is limited to the first
session of any service and applies to one service only.
Services must be paid in full before any session commences.
The User is solely responsible to abide by copyright laws; and may not copy,
reproduce, retransmit, distribute, transfer copyrighted material, or publish for
